Education J.D. Vanderbilt University School of Law, 1967 Practice Areas General Civil Litigation Professional Mr. Parker has been practicing law in Nashville since 1972. He served as Law Clerk to Chief Judge Harry Phillips of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. While in the Marine Corps, he served as Staff Judge Advocate and Military Judge. He was a Commissioner of the Tennessee Law Revision Commission and Chair of the Section of Litigation of the Tennessee Bar Association. He has served as Board President of Family and Children’s Service of Nashville, Board and Executive Committee member of the American Cancer Society, Board and Vice-President of Pastoral Counseling Centers of Tennessee, Inc., and Board Chairman of Westminster School. Personal Mr. Parker and his wife have two grown children. His wife, Adrienne, is Publications-Creative Director for The Ensworth School in Nashville. They are members of Westminster Presbyterian Church where Mr. Parker currently serves as an Elder. He is an avid sportsman and enjoys fishing and basketball.
